Learn how to tag the Baresquare tickets and use this taxonomy

Updated over a week ago

This is how to add label tags to tickets. You can customize your labels, in essence creating your own taxonomy/classification system. As always, on Baresquare you make the rules, and you decide how you want to organize your workflow.

In information systems, a tag is a keyword or term assigned to a piece of information.

This kind of metadata helps describe an item and allows it to be found again by browsing or searching.

You can add user-based tags on each ticket, which allows you to custom group them together.

Ticket labels can also be assigned automatically and used to group or filter tickets.

Head to the "Ticket screen" just below the ticket title and click on the "+ Add label" icon.

From this menu, you can "Search labels" for existing labels to reuse, or "Create a new label".

If a label is already assigned to a ticket, it will appear directly to the right of the "+ Add label" icon.

You can remove this label by hovering over it and clicking on the "-" icon:
