Learn more about the types of users and their permissions

There are 2 user types on Baresquare:

  1. (simple) User: This is the simplest type. Users can only view, comment on, assign, and resolve tickets. They can also view, comment, and upload content to the Knowledge sections that they have been invited to (if any). Users are not by default able to create, edit, and delete tickets; they cannot edit users or create new Knowledge sections. They are only able to invite other (simple) users to their Baresquare organization.

  2. Organization Admin: This type refers to users who have administrative rights in a specific Baresquare organization and they are able to manage the connected apps. In addition to what simple users can do, Organization Admins may be also able to create, edit, and delete tickets. They can also create new Knowledge sections and invite other (simple or organization admin) users. Lastly, they can manage organization settings, i.e., the organization's and the priority levels' naming.
